Takadanobaba Station (西武高田馬場駅店)

Green Tea Danish

Spearmint Green Full-leaf Tea

I thought the way they displayed their tea selection was very clever.
They even had sample tea bags in the short-size cups.

Sendai Station (仙台駅店)

This is the Starbucks store that is
connected to Sendai Station.

Sendai Station East Exit (仙台駅東口店)

This is my favorite Starbucks store in Sendai.

I was in Miyagi prefecture for a week
helping out at a soup-kitchen and
this was the Starbucks I stopped by
before heading back to Tokyo.

The baristas offered to keep my suitcase for me
so I didn't have to haul it upstairs.
So nice of them.

Some of the baristas were actually in the area I was in.
They had an event and provided coffee and music
to the people still living in the evacuation shelters.

This is what our menu looks like now.

Cookie and Caramel Cheese Cake

I love this art on the wall leading down to the first floor.

It was raining this day but I loved how most seats faced the window.

Hanyu Parking Area (羽生パーキングエリア(下り線)店)

This is the Starbucks store at a rest area on the Tohoku Expressway.

I'm not sure what rest areas on freeways in other counties are like,
but the ones in Japan have more than just bathroom facilities.
Large places have restaurants, souvenier corners,
and lots of shops selling local products.

And we also have Starbucks.
I think there are about 35 stores in all
scattered over various expressways in Japan.

All stores continue to gather donations
for the people affected by the 3.11 quake/tsunami.

It's a great place to rest before you continue your journey.
Especially if you're driving for hours on end.

Omotesando B-SIDE (表参道B-SIDE店)

This is one of our first stores in Tokyo to have the new Siren logo up.

This Starbucks in Harajuku, one of the most popular spots in Tokyo,
was renovated and re-opened on March 31 this year.
Notice the letters are white, not green.

It was designed by Hiroshi Fujiwara under the theme
"Nature" and "Relaxation."

It's a really large store with a wide variety in their menus.

Signboard for a special drink offered at this store.

This is the first floor with the huge wooden table.

Stairs leading up to the second floor.

Books and magazines provided by the designer.

The second floor area has really comfy sofas and study desks.

And on your way down the stairs,
if you look to the wall on the right you'll see...

...this really cool display!

To the right of the stairs on the first floor is this space.
I love the brick wall and wooden floors here.

It's like a sunroom and a great place to relax.

Bacon and Summer Vegetable Quiche

Mixed Dried Fruit and Tomato

Shaken Grapefruit Jasmine Tea

There are even seats facing outside on the terrace.

Shaken Orange Jasmine Tea

Isn't this store fabulous?

Nishi Shinjuku Mitsui Bldg (西新宿三井ビル店)

This summer Frappuccinos will probably sell like never before,
not only because we can now cutomize it but also because
Tokyo will be super hot due to power conservations.

But yay to the new summer promotion that today!

Starbucks Lamington Maccha
(there's also chocolate)

Cakepop Blueberry Cheesecake
(this was really great with the iced coffee blend!)
