Kyoto Sanjo Ohashi (京都三条大橋店)

I really love Kyoto.

And I really love this Starbucks store along the river at dusk.
My best friend and I enjoyed a quit chat
over tea lattes in our kimono.

Tenmabashi Keihan City Mall (天満橋京阪シティモール店)

Christmas has come and gone
and the new winter promotion has started on the 26th!

It features Azuki Matcha (Green Tea) Latte and Frappuccino.
Azuki is a type of red bean that is usually eaten sweetened.
It goes really well with green tea and is often used together in desserts.

Shinjuku Nomura Bldg (新宿野村ビル店)

I love this store during the holidays
because the office building also puts up Christmas decorations
so it makes the Starbucks store even more cozier.

Hope you are all having a wonderful holiday!
Merry Christmas!

Haneda Airport Domestic Terminal Station (羽田空港国内線ターミナル駅店)

This is the Starbucks store at
Haneda International Airport Domestic Terminal 1.
The airport has three terminals (2 domestic, 1 international).

This terminal is for Japan Airlines (JAL), which is why I rarely come
because I always fly with All Nippon Airways (ANA).
But my sister flies JAL so we had breakfast here
before I headed to Terminal 2 where I got on my ANA flight.

It's been a crazy couple of months where I've been
coming to the airport every month since August.
I'm beginning to feel quite at home here.

Anyways, I love the stores in airports because
they have all the city mugs from various cities across Japan.

They also had Christmas merchandise, too.

Handmade Starbucks Christmas Blend Booklet

Christmas Blend is here again this year
starting Nov 2nd in Japan.

For a country overflowing with Buddhists
we go all out on Christmas...
but I don't mind at all :-)

Here is the booklet the baristas made about this blend.

"a wood-y taste filled with warmth"
