Shinjuku Mitsui Bldg (新宿三井ビル店)

The how-ever-you-want-it frappuccino's are here!

And this delicious looking frappuccino
is this summer's season limited
Strawberry Cream Frappuccino.

And in my case it's a non-fat frappuccino.

Also new on the shelf is the Strawberry Scone.

This Salad Wrap isn't new
but the 15 items included in the wrap changed.
It now includes my favorite Edamame...yum!

Keio University Hospital (慶應義塾大学病院店)

Would you ever guess this is a Starbucks at a hospital?

Keio University Hospital is a very large and famous hospital
with many buildings for various research departments here.
This Starbucks store is in an independent building
but located within the hospital premises.

There wasn't much space inside the store.
But what was interesting is that there is a screen on the wall.

Usually when you get a numbered ticket at the reception
you have to wait there until your number is called.
But with the screen here also displaying the ticket numbers,
you can wait at Starbucks and enjoying a cup of coffee!

There are also seats outside.

Sakura Cheesecake
(wanted to eat it one last time before the summer promo started)

Iced Chai Tea Latte

Just as I was about to leave
a cherry blossom petal dropped on my table.

Iidabashi Karukozaka (飯田橋軽子坂店)

I took a break from the rain in this Starbucks store in Iidabashi.
It looked like a really big store from the outside
but it only had counter seats along two walls,
and a couple of stool tables inside.

I think the terrace outside would have been
a really great place if it were sunny.

The store didn't feel too small because of the high ceiling.

Chai Tea Latte

This is the terrace view from inside.

What I really liked about this store is the wall art.
I doubt many people notice it because it's so high above the counter
but the design was really cool.

Akasaka Tameike Tower (赤坂溜池タワー店)

This is Akasaka Tameike Tower.
The top floors are residential units and below are office units.

And just incase any of you are worried,
this building apparently has 2 types of seismic isolators that
reduce the vibration and prevent damage to the building.
So no worries there!

And here is the nice cozy Starbucks store on the first floor.
(A little dark as we're still conserving energy.)
I thought this crazy cat cheerleader was kinda cute.
They are handing out free VIA to those who buy a tumbler or mug.

You can see their shelf full of merchandise in the reflection.

Sunny bright colors on the wall.

The donation cup we have in all the Starbucks stores.
"Thank you for your kindness."
I like it when they add a little extra to things like this.

Besides writing "Gambare Nippon!!" on the donation cup,
they also kindly show you where to put the money
with a "Here" and arrow. lol.

Dark Mocha Chip Frappuccino

Isn't this a comfy Starbucks store?

Seibu Shinjuku PePe (西武新宿PePe店)

Getting the however-you-want-it Frappuccino this summer!
I think we're getting it on the 27th.

While we were there another aftershock hit us
and the Daily Offerings board was shakin' around like crazy.
I guess the baristas are used to this inside the store...
because they barely glanced at it.

They were serving Columbia Narino Supremo (hot)
and Guatemala Antigua (iced).

Cocoa Cappuccino Roll

Not too sweet but creamy.
The cappuccino cream inside was yum!

Ichigaya Ekimae (市ヶ谷駅前店)

This fantastic Starbucks store is right above Ichigaya Station.

The stairs leading up to the second floor.

It was around 3pm but the store was very crowded.

I love how this store has a really great view outside
as most of the store walls facing outside are windows!

And this store is perfect to visit right now because
you can see all the cherry blossoms blooming by the river below
and the ones you can see here along Yasukuni Street.

Or you can just grab a cup of coffee here
and just head on down to the river
to see the cherry blossoms like I did!
